Jenny Gordon
SPLASH AND DASH: owned and ridden by Anthony Ward-Thomas, aiming for the first Tweseldown meeting. Very consistent in novice rider races/confineds etc, good ride for the owner.
Anthony also has WAIN MOUNTAIN, ex Jim Old, aiming for Aintree Foxhunters, jumped round the big fences several times but needs to qualify!
HEAVEN IS ABOVE has been leased by 48 yr old new owner/rider and will be contesting novice rider races, also going to first Tweseldown
The yard is very novice rider orientated, big change from when Chris and Jenny riding, and another owner/rider having his first ride is Neil Henderson, a barrister who has bought MANDALAY BAY from Nigel Tutty in Yorkshire and is also hoping to get to Tweseldown in Dec. Mandalay Bay has won a maiden and restricted.
BIG MOMENT, ex Amanda Perrett, is a good hurdler who didn't take to jumping fences and will be ridden by Claire Douglas (owned by her father) Aiming for Cottenham Ladies Open 30 November.
ALFIE'S ISLE, owned by John Maxse, is a maiden. Ran three times last season for Mike Trickey and twice under rules for Henry Daly before being bought at Doncaster.
Jenny now also has BRUSHFORDunder her care, having run in bumpers (placed) and over hurdles for Chris last season and early this NH season. He's a 4 yr old who will have 2-3 runs and then hopefully be transferred back to Chris' care!
